Mercyhurst College is a comprehensive, private Catholic college located in Erie, Pennsylvania – the state’s only Great Lakes city. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1926, the College is a beautiful 75-acre expanse located on a hill overlooking Erie. Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    In general, the credits you earned for courses in which you received a grade of 'C' or higher will transfer to Mercyhurst.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Mercyhurst accepts a maximum of 75 credits from accredited four year colleges and universities, and a maximum of 60 credits from community or junior colleges. Credits earned for orientation, practicum, internships, and student teaching do not transfer. AP
