Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Mercyhurst College accepts transfer students from two and four-year institutions. Up to 60 credits can be accepted from a two-year college and up to 75 credits can be accepted from a four-year college.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  Minimum GPA is a 2.5.
• Official Transcripts:
  Mercyhurst requires the submission of official high school transcripts, as well as official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities.
• SAT Scores:
  Mercyhurst does not publish a requirement for the submission of standardized test scores.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Dean of Students Form is required.
• Essay:
  The submission of an essay is required.
• Application Fee:
  There is no fee if you apply online.
• Interview:
  Mercyhurst does not publish the requirent for a personal interview.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  In general, the credits you earned for courses in which you received a grade of 'C' or higher will transfer to Mercyhurst.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Mercyhurst accepts a maximum of 75 credits from accredited four year colleges and universities, and a maximum of 60 credits from community or junior colleges. Credits earned for orientation, practicum, internships, and student teaching do not transfer. AP
